Tinubu’s reelection: Politics has started – Wike declares

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom
Wike, on Friday, declared that politics has started because it is time.

Wike disclosed this during the inauguration of Senatorial
and LGA Coordinators of the Rivers State Renewed Hope Ambassadors in Port
Harcourt, the state Capital.

He commended the state Renewed Hope Ambassadors for their
commitment towards President Bola Tinubu’s reelection.

According to Wike: “Let me thank our leaders here, the
coordinators of the local government level, and the electoral districts, and to
the state, to the national assembly, to the state assembly, to the elders
council, for support, support is not by mouth.

“You have shown commitment, you don’t have your governor
with you, yet you say you are supporting Mr. President and you will do
everything humanly possible to return Mr. President as special grace in 2027.

“What have you done? You have managed yourselves with the
little resources you have had.

“You have gone to contribute for Mr President to succeed.
And I do know that wherever Mr. President is today, he’s watching your program
to know those who are really committed to the New Hope Ambassadors.

“You got the vehicles there. You don’t need to see some
Nigerian Naira. You don’t need it. All you need is commitment and you have
shown it. What you have done today, let me remind you, will bring a lot of
envy, will bring a lot of hatred, don’t mind her. You are committed and
continue to support Mr. President.

“Remember, I told you when we came for Thanksgiving, I did
say to you, by January, we start to play politics. Now the time has come, and
we have started the politics.”
